A momentous occasion in my life occurred yesterday, July 15, 2011.
It was a “big” birthday for me — but I need not specify the number. My philosophy: “Age is just a number — and mine is unlisted.”
The festivities took place poolside at the home of Peter and Joy Sloan in Orange, California. By family request, the menu centered around Hungarian chicken paprika’s (topped with sour cream), homemade nokedli (Hungarian version of spaetzle), and summer salad. By the birthday girl’s request, dessert consisted of cheesecake from Trader Joe’s, topped with sliced sugared strawberries.
